I was born in Homs, Syrian Arab Republic in 1970. I received the Engineering and DES degrees from Higher Institute for Applied Sciences and Technology (HIAST), DAMAS in 1994. I received my DEA degree in Automatic and signal processing in 2003, from the Laboratory for Analysis and Architecture of Systems LAAS-CNRS, Toulouse, France. In 2008, I received the PhD degree in random signal processing/Nonlinear Filtering from LAAS-CNRS. I worked as a Research Engineer with Thales Air Defence, Alcatel Alena Space, and DSI (Distribution Services Industrials), Toulouse, France. my Research interests include stochastic signal processing and their applications in radar, sonar, wireless communication systems, and identification systems. Since 2011, I'm a profsor in Department of Telelcommunication Engineering, HIAST Damas-Syria

  • Research Engineer October 2007 - 2011 Thales Air Defence, Paris, France First Algorithm is Deterministic maximum likelihood filtering, is used for the detection / tracking of steady and maneuvering targets. The second receiver applies the minimum variance technique is used for ARMOR radar
  • Research Engineer September 2003 - September 2008 Alcatel Alenia Space, Toulouse, France Communication: joint estimation of the kinematic channel parameters at the receiver side and the detection of the message transmitted by a satellite. We have also proposed several techniques for the iterative estimation and decoding of the turbo-coded message compliant with the DVB-RCS standard, Target estimation and identify the kinematic parameters of a sonar.
